City Clerk Urges Voters To Review Nine Ballot Questions

QUINCY — City Clerk Nicole Crispo is urging Quincy voters to review nine statewide ballot questions ahead of the upcoming election, while Quincy Patch reports on a $500,000 excessive-force case against Quincy police that has drawn scrutiny.

City Clerk Nicole Crispo is encouraging residents to familiarize themselves with the nine statewide ballot questions that will appear on the 2026 ballot, according to the city's News Flash feed. The city has also posted unofficial results from the September 1 State Primary Election on its website.

Separately, the city continues a 30-day public review period for its revised Quincy Community Electricity aggregation plan, giving residents a window to weigh in before the plan is finalized. The city is also hosting a Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Community Forum on October 6, and Mayor Tom Koch recently announced the launch of the city's Legacy Business Program to recognize long-running local small businesses.

Thomas Crane Public Library patrons and Quincy families have a busy stretch of programming ahead. A Teen Take & Make craft kit, "A Book in the Forest," runs through September 30, and the library's Critter Clicks Pet Photo Contest is accepting submissions through October 17, open to tweens, teens, adults and seniors who register in advance.

Pride in the Park, an all-ages offsite community event, is set for Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
