DPW Closes Quincy Rear Yard For Infrastructure Repairs

QUINCY — The Department of Public Works closed Quincy's rear yard Friday, Aug. 14, for additional infrastructure repairs, and City Hall's elevator went out of service in a separate notice, city officials said this week. No return-to-service date was given for either closure.

The city posted two facilities notices in quick succession heading into the weekend. The DPW rear yard closed Friday, Aug. 14, for additional infrastructure repairs, according to a notice on the city's website. Separately, City Hall's elevator was reported temporarily out of service, with the notice not specifying when normal access would resume.
