New Japanese Restaurant Set To Debut In Quincy This Week
DATELINE — QUINCY
A new Japanese restaurant offering a flexible take on omakase is set to open in Quincy this week, according to Quincy Patch, while City Hall works through two service disruptions: a DPW rear yard closing Monday for repairs and an elevator that remains out of order.

The Department of Public Works announced its rear yard will be closed Monday, August 10, 2026, for infrastructure repairs. City officials did not specify how long the closure will affect operations.
City Hall also posted a notice that its elevator is temporarily out of service. The city did not provide a timeline for repairs.
